Maars and sustainability

Maars takes her responsibility when it comes to sustainability. We have obligated ourselfs to lessen the impact on the environment. We are getting more and more aware that earth's resources are limited and that we have to use these resources carefully. Lets inspire, motivate and transfer knowledge!

100% recyclable
Maars partitioning systems are 100% recyclable

Lifespan

The lifespan of a partition system is generally 10 years. During those years the partition is re-used at least 5 times.

Powder coating

We exclusively use environment friendly powder coating instead of wet varnish

Modern glue
During production, only water based glue is used.

Innovation
Maars constantly invests in new technology to make production more environment friendly. We put a lot of effort in developing the first ever "Eco-partition wall".

Preferably steel
We preferably use steel because it's easier to recycle than aluminium

Sustainable production
The energy use of our factory in consistently going down by producing more efficiently. We switched to LED-lighting and use "green-power" waste-water is purified "in-house"

CO2-compensation
Maars compensates for CO2 emissions developed during production.

5S lean manufacturing
To motivate our employees to work environment friendly we use 5S lean Manufacturing.
