Stability test

In order to market string2 in Germany, Maars needed a proof of "Biegegrenzfehigkeit of Standfestigkeit." For most of our other partitioning systems such a proof is already present. Unfortunately is a proof of stability according to European tests not sufficient according to German law.

In close consultation with the test station at the Technical University at Braunschweig, The MPA-IBMB, a schedule was put together to gather as much data as possible in the much efficient way. Along with these results the maximum hight of string2 could be determined.

The test method isn't different then building up a module, which a hydraulic stamp is placed against linearly. This test goes at least twice with each variant.

Fire resistance test

The fire resistance test was not exactly as expected, positively that is! not 90 but at least a 120 minutes long string2 has proven to be fire resistant and kept well bellow the maximum of a 180 degrees.
